Geotechnical Engineering and Underground Works
Angel is a civil engineering graduate from the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia. He completed his final year of studies in Paris, attending lÉcole Nationale des Ponts & Chausees (ENPC) on an exchange student program. During this time, he also acquired a Master´s degree in Project Management in International Construction from la Grande Ecole EI.CESI.
Angel´s projects cover the structural design in the field of geotechnical Engineering (tunnels, foundations, anchors, soil improvement, etc). In addition, he is also an expert in modeling and performing numerical analyses using state-of-the-art software such as FLAC & PLAXIS 2D & 3D, to evaluate the risks involved in the design and construction of tunnels, as well as the study of the interaction between underground works and existing structures in the vicinity.
Prior to working for Dynamis, he worked for Terrasol (Grupo SETEC), Intecsa-Inarsa, and for the Technical Department of the prestigious construction firm, Ferrovial.
Angel has contributed numerous articles in both national and international media such as Ingeotuneles, Ingeopress, World Tunnelling Congress 2015, Tunnels & Tunneling, and World Tunnelling, and has also participated in various conferences worldwide.
Angel is a member of the official college of Civil Engineers in Valencia. In 2013, the Valencia delegation of the CICCP awarded him the Young Engineer award for his brilliant professional career.
